It uses an oval element and a reflective strip that is housed inside the lens during manufacturing. The bokeh looks as if it was really shot with an anamorphic lens. A reflective element in the center of the lens amplifies flare and directs light across the image, creating the legendary horizontal flare. This modification preserve natural color of footage, so you can shoot low light and daylight scenes without any color correction issues. This is not an anamorphic lens.
