Description: NOTE: Poster only, frame not included. Silkscreen on cream Speckletone paper. This limited edition Shepard Fairey poster is signed by the artist, numbered 594/600, and represents what was undeniably one of the coolest events I’ve ever been to in my life. Portishead picked the lineup, somehow they got Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel to come out of over a decade of reclusion to play a show, and Shepard Fairey himself closed out the event with a DJ set at a bowling alley that turned into a huge dance party across the lanes. But my house doesn't have enough wallspace to hang this and this poster is too much of a collector's item to sit in a closet. It is selling for $550 to $650 in art galleries, unframed. Please note, this listing is only for the poster and not for the frame. It’s hard to get a photo of it where there isn’t glare from the lights. But the print itself is in perfect condition under the glass, any funny patterns, or textures you see in the photos or white dots are just reflections of the lights. It was professionally framed and mounted behind UV protective museum glass and has been in an office with very little sunlight since 2011. I am leaving it in the frame for now to protect it, but when purchased, I will remove it and put it in an art shipping tube. The custom frame was $475 + (with inflation, it would be ~$660 today) and would make the listing pretty expensive, so I’m not including it — but if you are very interested in the frame and can do local pickup in SF, send me a note and we can talk. Happy to answer more questions!
