Description: Collecting medals from the 1962 Seattle World's Fair for me goes all the way back to 1962 when I was 10 years old and roaming the fairgrounds constantly. My dad worked at the fair so I took advantage of every opportunity to be there. The Million-Dollar display was one of my favorite exhibits (and shops!) and I already was a seasoned veteran coin collector having started in 1959. Most of the medals and coins (including bags of silver dollars) were pretty good prices at the time and certainly look terrific looking back 62 years. I am also listing a silver set and I believe I am listing both sets at the best price on Ebay. I will consider offers, as long as they're realistic. Unfortunately there are a few folks on Ebay who make a habit of trying to get ridiculously lucky--offering say $100 when something is listed at $300. Please note that the photo of the obverses of the medals look like several very bright and others not.THEY ARE ALL UNIFORMLY BRIGHT AND GEM QUALITY. The problem was the poor lighting and poor photographer!
