For this reprint, we used a master digitized at 96kHz / 24bit from the master in our home country, and newly mastered the SACD layer and the CD layer separately. It is a permanent preservation board. Kempe and Berlin Phil have left many recordings on Electora since the 1950s, and there are many famous sound sources such as Wagner's orchestra, Brahms' symphonies Nos. 2 and 4, and German Requiem as monaural sound sources. At that time, the Electora was slow to move to stereo recording, and even in the Kempe session, stereo recording started in Berlin only in the middle of 1957. The DISC2 overture collection included in this reprint is the earliest stereo recording.
