Description: This interesting real photo postcard is of the Canadian Pavilion at the 1908 Franco-British Exhibition which was held in London, England. It is black and white except for a girl in the lower left corner who appears to be wearing a pink dress and carrying a pink umbrella. The stamp was placed on the front of the postcard and the postmark says "(illegible)borough 7:45 PM OC 26 08." I believe this postcard was posted from Gainsborough, England on October 26, 1908. The message on the back reads "Dear Friend, not sure whether I sent you this or not but don't think I did it was one of the best and most interesting Palaces at the White City London 1908. Kindest Regards A. T." This postcard was addressed to "Miss E. Godshall, H6120 Chew SD, Philadelphia, Pa., USA." Please see photos for condition of this vintage postcard. Item PC-0048.
