Description: Rookwood, Cincinnati, OH 1880-1965 Here is a very lovely and well-made antique tile from award-winning Rookwood Pottery. Look at all the details both in the raised fruit and basket-weave bowl. A pineapple is the central piece of fruit surrounded by perhaps grapes, peaches, lemons or even apricots. A raised bluebird is one each side. There are about eight soft, pastel glaze colors with matte finishing. This is a very impressive tile. Excellent condition and measures 12' x 6" x1" thick. Incised with Rookwood's mark.
