Description: The wonderful center print depicts the circus in full swing with a parade of camels and elephants, horse riders, clowns, and acrobats with The Greatest Show on Earth globe in the corner. The lithographed print is in very good condition with one tear above the LE in Bailey. The border around the print has more that a dozen illustrations of circus and wild animals depicting momma with her infant/young ones. There's a hole for hanging strategically placed in the ball the seal is balancing. The top left corner has a scrolled banner wishing "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". The lower right border has a business card-like illustration/printing showing that this was given by Arthur R. Hopper, General Agent and Traffic Manager for the circus. The calendar for 1946 is under the print and also has a smaller 1947 calendar across the bottom. Bill Bailey is the artist named, possibly just for the border illustrations. Please review the photos for condition. In spite of the border damage, this is a delightful piece illustrated with fantastic circus and animal scenes and will display well. The center print is 14" x 8". The overall piece is 19 1/4" x 13".
