Description: For sale is a RARE vintage Planter's Peanuts Mr. Peanut coin bank from the estate of a local longtime collector couple who had to have had one of the largest collections of Planters Peanuts collectibles in the world. This is an 8.5 inch early hollow plastic coin bank in what I believe to be a very rare silver finish, but collectors will know better than I. The screw-off hat is a tan/beige. The base has the words "BANK" on the front and "MADE IN U.S.A." on the back. You can see that there is a chip on the back side of the base, and some of the silver finish is worn away, particularly on the front of the Mr. Peanuts figure. Beyond that, I see no other defects. I have an outstanding history of shipping fragile collectibles, and this will be packaged carefully for safe delivery to your location.
