Identifiable understrike detail is visible on the reverse of the token. This is an extremely scarce variety and it is rare in this state of preservation. This attractive uncirculated specimen retains much of the original red color. It was formerly in the collection of Ken Bauer, a long-time collector of Civil War tokens.
