Description: A rare antique Royal Doulton dinner plate from around 1903. I found the game bird series of plates listed on replacements.com, but they do not have any for sale, nor was I able to find any for sale anywhere else on the internet. This particular plate was not pictured on replacements until I sent them a picture of these plates and they posted it on their site, so they did not even have record of this design. I have 2 of these plates available, so the markings on the back may not be identical to the photos, but the same pattern number is clearly marked on each. The Royal Doulton mark on the back of the plates was in use from 1902-1922, and my estimation of 1903 is based on the pattern number. The plates are in excellent condition for their age with no chips or cracks noted and minimal surface wear. There is a fair amount of crazing, as would be expected with pieces of this age.
