RARE - Jerry Garcia Hand Picked Poplar Wood box prototype

Description: Unfinished Poplar wood box with sliding top. When looking at the design the box measures: 13-1/4 long (top to bottom) x 12-3/4 wide x 6-3/4 tall This is a rare one-off (as far as I know) sample that was made as a prototype. I don't know if there was ever a run of these completed and used or not. The Hand Picked design is on the sliding lid and hand print logo is on the bottom of the box. Designs are printed on the box, not engraved. As you can tell by the second photo, the lid has some bowing in it that keeps the lid from sliding completely closed.The sides of the box are not 100% "sealed" (see the last photo) but this is the nature of it being a prototype.This box is sold as it is.Perfect for holding any of the many items that the Hand-Picked company provides as well any paraphernalia that would go along with it. :) Box is raw wood and ready for paint or stain if you're feeling creative.
