Description: This is an absolute stunning 11" tall Lemonade pitcher in dark green with a slight shade of blue mixed in it. It is classic Mary Gregory Glass and a form that's hard to find perfect. It has an applied handle, as it should for its age. The piece is hand blown and really well done, might actually be from the Boston Sandwich Glass factory. It has a broken pontil mark on the base and it shows a ton of good old wear to help support that old old age. This is not a 1920's - 40's piece but an honest to goodness real McCoy antique piece of 1800's Mary Gregory. The piece is 5 5/8" in diam at its widest point. There are no chips nicks dings cracks or repairs. The paint decoration is wonderful and the whittling you can see in the old glass from being made just accents the whole piece. Its Estate Fresh this past week and first time back to the public in over 50 years or more. Just a super addition to any collection.
