Description: The Army Armament Series of "Kimber Warrior" 1911's are 1911's that were closely replicated after the Kimber ICQB (Interim Close Quarter Battle) 1911's. These 1911's were special built pistols made for the United States Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC). The Army Armament "Kimber Warrior" soon became a highly desired pistol to own due to the fact that it was so closely replicated after the actual Kimber Warrior, and although you can still purchase a new Army Armament "Warrior" that is similar to the Army Armament "Kimber Warrior"; the fact is that you won't find the Army Armament Series of "Kimber Warrior" 1911's brand new for sale anywhere. That is due to the fact that they were discontinued. Now, you can only find the ordinary Army Armament "Desert Warrior" which is nothing more than a plain Army Armament Full Metal R28 1911 painted olive green or black. So, this means that the only way to get an Army Armament "Kimber Warrior" 1911 in pristine like new condition is to buy one from a collector such as myself that are willing to part with them. This particular Army Armament "Kimber Warrior" was a "Limited Edition" two tone black and gun metal gray that was replicated more along the lines of the Kimber "Tactical Custom II" 1911. It came with black plastic grips that I replaced with a set of more traditional military type double diamond bonded ivory magwell grips that I had on hand. They are quite similar to genuine ivory grips especially as they age. I did however eventually replace these grips with the actual real Kimber magwell grips that you will find on the real Kimber "Tactical Custom II". You will also find that the branding is incorrect on this "Limited Edition" 1911 as it still says "Warrior" on the slide. It also does not have the checkered front strap nor the correct sights. It does however have highly visible three dot combat sights though that are visible even in low light conditions which are a very nice touch. I also replaced the incorrect trigger that came in the gun with a Guarder trigger that is a correct replication of the trigger that you will find in the actual Kimber "Tactical Custom II" 1911. I also like the fact that Army Armament made the mag to look very similar to the mag that the Kimber 1911's come with, which is something else you won't find on the new Army Armament "Warrior" series of 1911's. Best of all though, this 1911 has the deep etched markings that mimic the real-life counterpart that you absolutely will not find on a new Army Armament "Warrior" It is nothing more than a plain ordinary 1911 that is etched with the wording warrior on the slide and not much of anything else when compared to this 1911. Another nice touch about this gun is the fact that is an MEU airsoft variant which makes it fully compatible with Tokyo Marui upgrades. This will give you the ability to upgrade this pistol as much as you wish with many parts that are readily available for this 1911. This 1911 has never been used but once since I've had it. That was when I first bought the gun because I wanted to make sure that it worked properly. I also put an Angel Custom 170% enhanced recoil spring in it because the one it came with gave a rather weak recoil when you fired the gun. It will also come with a matching hammer spring which I did not install. I also replaced the weak guide rod with a nicer Airsoft Masterpiece guide rod, and the barrel bushing was replaced with a 5KU Compensator which really gave the gun a more aggressive look that done away with the wimpy barrel bushing that came with the gun. If you are in the market for a 1911, you definitely won't want to miss out on quite possibly the only chance that you will ever have to own a 1911 pistol quite like this one. It's one really nice 1911 for sure, and my asking price is very reasonable for a replica that you will no longer find anywhere. Especially in the pristine condition this one is in and with a nice start on the upgrades that you will be getting with it. There's even a real Kimber gun rug to stow the gun in when it's not in use.
