Description: I have for sale an incredibly rare early 19th century Mitchell's pocket tourist map book of Pennsylvania. Date: 1834 Augustus Mitchell Pennsylvania Road Distances: J. H. Young As you can see in the photos there are some issues to the map. It is all still together, but there are (2) long slits along the horizontal folding lines, and there is a tear to the middle-right-edge. However, it is mostly still all there. There looks to be a couple approximate pea sized paper chips missing. You can see an example of this in the (21st) photo above. I have provided over (50) enlarged photos below to give you a very thorough view of this rare early tourist State map. The red gilded hardcover is still in very good condition.
