The town of Tehuilotepec is located in the Municipality of Taxco de Alarcón (in the State of Guerrero), about 70 miles north of Amatitlán and along the same mountain range as the deposits people are most familiar with. The crystals from this find have some fairly similar characteristics. The crystals are thick with phantoms, horizontal striations and a frosted appearance.
