Description: This rare 1920s Hungarian”Cleopatra” litho hinged 100 cigarette tin, measuring 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” x 1 1/2”, is in good condition with no dents, some superficial rust on interior bottom and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent working condition. This highly attractive ivory and red Art Deco tin features a detailed image of Cleopatra reclining on a day bed while holding a snake. The cigarettes were manufactured by Dohány Jövedék, Budapest, Hungary.
