Ferchingly fanciful, RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON revamped the "Rocketman" character seen earlier in Republic's popular 1949 seriol, KING OF THE ROCKETMEN and benefitted greatly from some superb new special effects by Howard and Theodore Lydecker. Audiences responded well enough to RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON to worrant the production of 12 half-hour featurettes based on the Cody character, with Judd Holdren replacing George Wallace, These were later syndicated under the title, COMMANDO CODY.
