Description: Top-of-the-Line Vintage from 1977-78 era President ADAMS 40 channel AM/SSB Mobile CB radio. I am the second owner of this radio. I purchased it from the original owner locally who bought it for his collection locally from a shop called AutoSond Electronics, the local President dealer. Only 6 months after purchase he passed away and I was able to purchase this for my own collection. Somehow the original box sadly got misplaced or lost by original owner…wish I had it. The radio is Complete, even the President yellow tag for the channel selector was kept as well as all the accessories and paperwork as shown. The radio is in absolutely pristine condition, like new, a stunning looking radio. He tested it upon purchase and then covered up on his bench. I also tested it after purchase in ‘79 as well as 3 years ago recently and everything still worked very well. This is definitely a rare collectors item and it has sat covered up in my collection…. not used. I have other base radios I used instead normally for local talking. Includes accessories as shown…microphone, bracket, mic clip hanger, manual, power cord, etc. This was Presidents flagship top of the line AM/SSB mobile CB radio in 1977-78 era.
