Description: This beautiful one-of-a-kind 1960-1970's Isparta rug makes it's way from Isparta City in Western Part of Turkey. It features a softly colored floral background with scrolling blue details. This is a primitive piece of art and truly a must have for any rug lover. This rug features coarsely woven low wool pile on a solid cotton foundation that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: soft sage, cream, black, ivory, and more. This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades. We are a long time family run business based in the U.S. with direct support from our family in Turkey. We source our inventory directly from Turkey and the surrounding regions.
