Description: ~ Here is a neat Primitive Folk Art Whirligig hand made of Painted Wood & Metal ~Condition: Not in working whirligig order. Missing the vane and blades. I believe with the right skills, it would be easy enough to repair to be operational. When operational - mounted on a pole or a fence post, the wind vane turned the fan blades into the wind. The spinning fan blades then animated the man to saw back and forth. The movable feature of the man does work manually. With original paint and weathered look, it is neat as just a unique folk art shelf decor or lawn art! I am guessing this was hand made in the 1940's-1950's.
