Description: Primitive Wooden Stirrup with Folk Art Painted decoration,signed.. a very unique decorating piece,primitive stirrup with hand painted flowers on one side and mushrooms on the other and very nicely done signed but can’t find anything out about the individual,I think the name reads Bel Hoept ?.the stirrup shows a lot of age and use related wear,also retains original saw marks on the inside that were meant to help the wood to bend into shape after a lengthy soaking I’m sure.wood is Oak.a very nice decorative item and conversation piece.
