Description: Photograph Notes: Built by Andrew Barclay of Kilmarnock, the saddle tank "Belvoir" was delivered new to Harston Quarries in NE Leicestershire in January 1954 and worked there until being replaced by a diesel loco in 1967. The ironstone quarries at Harston were developed by Stanton Ironworks and owned successively by Stewarts & Lloyds and British Steel until closure in 1974. At the Rutland Railway Museum "Belvoir" appears in Stewarts & Lloyds livery. Before returning to the East Midlands it spent some time on the Stour Valley Railway in Essex.
