Description: Interior KIT for Walthers 85ft Horizon Commuter Car [ HO ] Miscellaneous Railroad Company # 96Coach-Horizon This interior differs from the [ 92Coach-Horizon ] interior in that all the seats face the front.The interior was designed to fit into the early Walthers 85ft Horizon Coach Commuter Car and accommodates the body fastening tabs. This KIT consists of 2 pieces to be glued together to create the interior.“Super Glue” works well, but see the warning below.Align the parts with a ruler to keep them straight while gluing.The interior has 48 double seats (96 commuter seats) and 2 lavatories at the rear. There are no interior details in the lavatories; there is no space and it cannot be seen. There may be some other trimming, sanding or filing involved. Paint and populate the interior before installation. Use care when installing the interior into the car; there are no tabs to aid in locating. Be sure that the interior is centered in the car. Test Fit BEFORE gluing!! The interior fits rather close to the body screw tabs. Bond the interior to the stock steel weight with automotive weather-stripping glue. The product is manufactured from beige aliphatic polyester resin and can be painted. We are attempting to manufacture the BEST interiors available! An illustrated destruction sheet is included with every purchase. Assembled Length of the Interior = 10 1/8th inches; Width: 1 3/16th inch; Height = 7/8th inches Weight of the Interior = 1oz.Warning! Do not install the interior in the passenger car sooner than 12 hours after using “Super Glue”. Cyanoacrylate adhesives release fumes that will attack and mar your windows and other surfaces. PLEASE NOTE: Each of our car interiors are made to fit specific passenger cars as described. Although our interiors are not following a specific prototype railroad floor plan, we take into account window placement of the cars, and any protrusions or obstructions inside the specific car. We strive to get it right so your cars will look their best. Every time we run a repeat production all the latest improvements are incorporated. We will not change the seat count or placement so the newest production is visually compatible with the previous production runs.
