Description: Parker T-1 Titanium soft-tip pen with gold trim; converted to a ballpoint using a Parker-style refill and the adapters originally made for Parker's Big Red pen (Parker hasn't sold soft-tip/fibre-tip refills since the 1970's, I believe, and a rollerball refill will fit this pen, but will be a little loose where it extends from the barrel, as the soft-tip/fibre-tip was a slightly larger diameter). I bought this pen as brand-new in 2018, and never really used it (I can say definitively it's been held in my hand to write less than one paragraph, just as a "test write"). It's in near mint condition for an over 50 year old pen (Parker produced the Titanium pens for just about 1 year, from 1970-1971, and discontinued them do to the difficulty of working with Titanium. Their supplier was unable to supply them with sufficient quantities of the level of quality of Titanium Parker required, so there was a lot of material being wasted during the manufacturing process, and the pen didn't sell relatively well). There is some discoloration of the Titanium (which, to be perfectly honest, I never even noticed until I took the photos of it!) as well as some possible micro-scratching visible under magnification (a result of sitting in a coffee mug for years with a number of other pens), but overall this pen looks great! Obviously, it has the Titanium gripping section, and not the plastic section found on some later versions (that were re-branded as 75's and used left-over parts from the T-1). Will ship with a brand-new Uni SXR-600 Jetstream fine (0.5mm) black ballpoint refill made by The Mitsubishi Pencil Co (a Parker-style refill that is EXCELLENT - FAR better than any Parker refill I've ever used!).
