A talented stage and film actor, ROBERT KLEIN (b. 1942) is perhaps best known as a stand-up comic. After debuting on The Ed Sullivan Show, Klein appeared in numerous Broadway shows, including They're Playing Our Song, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor, films and cable TV specials. In addition to hosting Comedy Tonight (1970), which first brought him national attention, and later Dead Comics Society and Stand Up Stand Up for the Comedy Central cable service, Klein has recorded three comedy albums, Child of the 50s (1973), Mind Over Matter (1974) and New Tooth (1992). He has also appeared on a number of television variety shows, series (including Sisters and Bob Patterson) and made-for-television movies, as well as in feature films including The Owl and the Pussycat (1970), Hooper (1978), One Fine Day (1996), Primary Colors (1998), Two Weeks Notice (2002) and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003). HOLLAND TAYLOR (b. 1943) is an American actress of film, stage, and television, and playwright. Taylor's long career began in the theatre as she has appeared in numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Taylor's first main television role was in the series Bosom Buddies. Some of her other well-known roles include the senator's wife Margaret Powers on Norman Lear's The Powers That Be, Judge Roberta Kittleson on The Practice and Evelyn Harper in Two and a Half Men. She is also the author and performer of the solo play Ann, based on the life and work of Ann Richards. CHARLES DURNING (1923-2012) gained public notice and critical acclaim as a crooked cop in the Oscar-winning The Sting (1973). He went on to appear in several Burt Reynolds films, most memorably as the singing governor in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982). That performance landed him an Oscar nomination, as did his spin on "Concentration Camp" Erhardt in the 1983 remake of To Be or Not to Be. In 1975, Durning was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of ulcerated police lieutenant Moretti in the theatrical feature Dog Day Afternoon (1975); he finally won that award 15 years later for his work as "Honey Fitz" Fitzgerald in the TV miniseries The Kennedys of Massachusetts. A frequent figure on television (Evening Shade), he won a Tony in 1990 as Big Daddy in a revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, one of his 13 Broadway appearances (1964-2000). Corners rounded.
