Description: Title: Antique Oil Lamp Description: Presented for your consideration is this nice looking antique oil lamp. The composite oil lamp has a square iron base that is painted white. The stem is milk glass and has a orange butterfly next to a piece of greenery. The stem is connected to the base and font with brass connectors. The pressed glass font has a frosted midsection with the design work done in clear. The lamp is completed with a White Flame burner. No markings are on the lamp to indicate a manufacturer but the top of the font is marked with "Patented July 2, 1872". This nice lamp would make a great addition to any lamp or lighting collection! The top brass connecting piece doesn't sit properly on the stem, possibly was replaced at one point. A small chip is at the top of the stem but is covered by the connector. Burner adjusting knob is frozen in place and some light staining is on the interior bottom of the font. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Sold as found. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
