Description: A one of a kind item with autographs from two celebrated coaches in NCAA history--Barry Switzer and Billy Tubbs from the University of Oklahoma. It is a vintage aerial photograph of the university campus mounted on a mat with best wishes inscribed to Major Dave Alkove, presumably of the US Air Force. Many of the inscriptions are fading, making them hard to decipher. However, the autographs of the two coaches stand out beautifully! I do not know the history nor the date of this piece. However, I'm guessing it was compiled sometime in the 1980s when the coaching tenures of the two men overlapped. The autographs have not been authenticated, but a detailed comparison to autographs found online lead me to believe they are authentic. I accept returns if you determine otherwise. With the mat, it measures about 20 inches x 24 inches. The photo alone is just under 16 inches x 20 inches. Condition: Original photograph, on Kodak paper. Some scratches, scuffs, and nicks in the photo and mat. Many of the inscriptions are fading.
