Description: Title: Novelty Smoking Ashtray Incense Burner Man Smoking Pipe Japan Vintage 1950’s 6.5” Ceramic This is a novelty ashtray or incense burner made in Japan in the 1950’s. It is a figural ceramic of a man smoking a pipe. When a cigarette or incense cone is placed in the base smoke comes out of his mouth and the pipe. He is approximately 6.5 inches tall. There is crazing overall, a tiny bit of paint loss on his shoulder and 5 small spots Omni the top of his hat. I have included closeup photos of these. He is in otherwise excellent vintage condition.
