Description: A beautiful pair of old 19th century Northwest Coast, Kwakwaka'wakw, wooden clappers (musical instruments). They are rare survivors... The wood is Red Cedar; they have a very attractive dark golden-brown hue and surface patina from much oxidization and many years of handling....They look much better in person. Measurements: One clapper is 10.5 inches long; width is 2.5. The other clapper is slightly smaller.
