This was always my favorite over the 1.4x and 2X teleconverters. It is quite rare because teleconverters are no longer made in this size by Nikon. The front and rear elements of the lens are in perfect shape with no visible wear on them. The exterior of the lens shows no signs of wear on it. The lens is completely free of fungus and haze or any visible dust. Only works with the Nikon AF-I and AF-S lenses and will maintain full metering.
