Description: This is a nice antique Japanese Kutani sugar bowl with lid, depicting alternating panels of birds and flowers. The bowl dates from the early 20th century, Taisho or early Showa period/ and is in very good condition overall, with minimal surface wear commensurate with age / use. The lid has a chip to it's inner rim, with a small associated hairline. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Approximate size: 5 1/4" high (including lid) x 5 3/4" wide (handle to handle). Ships with USPS Priority Mail.
