Description: Program from the New York Jets vs Kansas City Chiefs game on September 18, 1965 in which Joe Namath made his professional debut. Game also featured Namath’s first AFL touchdown pass, to future Hall of Famer Don Maynard. Namath did not play in the first game of the season, a week earlier in Houston, allowing him to debut in front of the home crowd at Shea Stadium. Program is in nice shape with just some wear. No writing or creases…just a little wear on the binding and light dog ears on the corners. Comes with ‘Jet Set’ newsletter insert. Great piece of Namath memorabilia.
