We feel her all the time, she was very close to our hearts and she was that very special pet, but "more" than a pet. She came to find us when we were in need of strength. She cuddled with all of us. We could hold her in our arms just like a baby and she enjoyed the love that everyone showered her. PouPouce, yes of course, she was the angel we all needed. A kitten born with eight toes on both feet, a miracle kitten, she knew it. We all miss her all the time. This little porcelain figurine is in memory of our lost angel. Our love goes out with every figurine. Our little gracious angel PouPouce came into this world from her mother Grisette, she had four kittens in her litter, PouPouce, Grissoux and two others. Grissoux and Grisette remain in the Acadian Peninsula. Both Mother and Son are as well angels in so many ways. Pou-Pouce’s Mother is a cat that someone dumped at the end of the road with her brother to fend for themselves when they were just kittens, to turn wild. She survived. When it was time to stop nursing her little, she brought them to our door to be fed. Months later, Grisette started coming to the door for affection and food, she is now a spoiled house cat. They all have loving characters. We treasure them all.
