Description: This coin was on the Dec 12-1985 Gander Newfoundland-Arrow Air plane crash of TF 3/502 returning from the Sinai. This coin survived the plane crash in great condition and is beyond rare. I’m the original owner of this coin. It was issued to me a few months after it was recovered from the site. I was in Delta-3/502 and was ordered to switch from this flight to the last flight so a married soldier could have my seat and be home for Christmas. I was scheduled to be on this plane along with the challenge coins that were originally going to be issued to us in Egypt. Most of the coins were destroyed in the crash.
