G. Whetstone, 970 West Third street. The presentation was made by Mr. Sachett, the agent for the Sewing Machine company at about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. With bear head Mr. Sachett together with his machine occupied a dray wagon in front of the store, and while the rain was falling on his head addressed a large crowd of people who blocked Third street so that it required the police to keep traffic open. The machine being on the wagon was hauled directly up to the home of the winner after the presentation ceremony.
