Description: A series from the late 70's, based on a line of toys, but which writer Bill Mantlo and artist Michael Golden managed to make one of Marvel's most interesting, entertaining, and offbeat series of the time. The series was non-distributed in the UK. This copy of issue #6 is a lovely looking book with nothing to detract from eye-appeal. Cover colours and gloss appear unfaded, the spine is flat; pages are off-white and all secure to their original rust-free staples. The only flaws are minor ones, discovered on careful examination. There are some light spine-stresses, but they are so faint as to be almost invisible - the heaviest one being apparent when viewed on the back cover. It corresponds with a slight downturn of the right half of the bottom edge of the cover. There is some similarly slight, and near invisible, wear across the top right corner, as if it has been bent forward, but without producing a crease. I believe this book comfortably meets Overstreet grading criteria for F/VF and is close to VF, so that I would be led to grade as VF-/7.5, but you are invited to make your own assesment based on these notes and the uploaded images. This comic will be dispatched backed and bagged, securely packed in a sturdy bookmailer - I do not use car-backed A4 envelopes or bubble-wrap . to see it reaches you in the same condition it leaves me! I use Royal Mail rather than Evri, Yodel, or DHL. I've been collecting comics for over 50 years. In that time I've upgraded much of my collection, resulting in extra copies of many issues. In addition, there are series' I have collected which I don't feel the need to take to the grave! I am therefore seeking to reduce the size of my collection by selling off my duplicates and items no longer of interest. As a continuing collector myself, I really want buyers to be happy with their purchase, whatever condition it is in, and I always try to grade carefully, using Overstreet criteria.
