Description: Rare heart-shaped trinket or soap dish made by British potter Mary Rose Young in 2007. I understand that all her pieces are one of a kind. This one is black with beige hand-painted roses and thick gold trim, with an applied 3-D gold rose at the top. It measures 6" wide by 5 1/2" deep and about 1" tall. It has Young's signature and the year painted on the back as well as the original sticker. As a handmade piece, it has some irregularities, prominent brush strokes, and tiny glaze skips on the back, but no damage anywhere. It came from a local estate auction but was obviously unused. Many people collect her pieces as they are beautiful works of art!
