Description: Sexy Maria Montez Postcard RPPC Unused Facsimile signed Signature 1940s My late mother was star crazy in her tweens and teens, and collected autographed photos and other movie and music memorabilia. I am clearing out her home and going through her collections, and will be listing some over the next few months. Maria Montez (born Maria Africa Gracia Vidal in 1912) was a Dominican film actress who played in a lot of adventure films, often as a sexy temptress. She became known as the Queen of Technicolor. Altogether, she appeared in 26 films. Montez died in France in 1951 at the age of 39. Here, Montez appears with a low cut gown showing decolletage, with a black mantilla on her head. EK postcard is unused and unposted, so it was likely sent to my Mom in an envelope. Slight curvature. A bit of light surface scratching. Some cracquelure to surface, visible when the photo is held just at the right angle. (See last photo.) I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so if you purchase several things, please wait for my invoice before paying. I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
