Description: Lovely antique linen dressing/nightgown. Beautiful lightly striated homespun, yummy soft oatmeal color with darling small red cross stitch monogram MB. Very soft floppy hand. Weight just over 1 lb! Beautifully hand sewn with a few machine top-stitched seams as well. I just adore the hand meds!!! Gusseted on both side. Dating early 1900's perhaps late 19th c. Tie on neck, great for adjusting fit! Lovely to use as gown, dress, period costume or for display! Approximate measurements: lying flatShoulders 20.5"Armpit to armpit 23.5”Arm hole 7" Opening at end of sleeve 6" Length from shoulder to bottom 39”Width at bottom 32” Condition: Lovely overall condition. A few head mends that add to the charm! Please see photos and use zoom for additional item detail and condition. Carefully washed pressed and ready to use. I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special! ***Please ask questions before purchasing.*** Thank you for looking!
