Description: Lot of 5 cabinet photos from 1880-1890 period, b/w, all 4.6", as follows: 1. Young woman in elegant dress featuring a bustle; her hair shows small curls framing the face, as was the fashion. She leans against a decorative podium; "Portland Towne Oregon" on bottom. Verso is written "Anna Anderson Erickson" in blue ink along with a gallery stamp "W. H. Towne San Francisco Gallery" with "Portland" included in the stamp. Straight edge. 2. Girl of about 12 dressed in charming white ruffled dress, leaning against sculpted podium with backdrop scene; "Reinhart & Dorrothy Red Bluff Cal" printed at bottom. Verso is written "Martha Winlund". Scalloped edge. 3. 2 children about 3 and 4 years old, dressed in adorable formal dress; hair done up in curls as was the fashion and the younger of the two seems to be a little boy; little boys wore dresses until about 5 years old in that time period. They are seated and "Ethel and Elmer" is written on verso, with "J. D. Reinhart Photographer Fine Portraits and Enlargements, Locket Pictures Viewing Inc Red Bluff Cal." on stamp. Scalloped edge. 4. 1 child from same sitting as above in #3, this time he's seated on a fancy seat. Verso stamp is "J. D. Reinhart Photographer Fine Portraits and Enlargements, Locket Pictures Viewing Inc Red Bluff Cal." Scalloped edge. 5. Baby in christening dress, propped up by pillows in chair. Bottom front is "Eastman" in large print with 4 addresses beside it, two in Portland, one in East Portland and one in The Dalles. Verso is written "Ethel 6 mos." in ink. Straight edge.
