I do this to give these items, which most people seemingly think of as instantly disposable, an additional life and purpose. I have teamed up with a few local businesses, friends and family (as of us have like recycling mindsets) with the hope to keep many of these products out of landfills for as long as possible. Your shipping package may not be the most visually pleasing, but it will be well packed, personally, by me, without adding new items to our already overcrowded landfills.
