Lightly Played The Winged Dragon of Ra GBI-003 Ultra Rare Limited Edition

Description: This particular card has a rich history, years ago around 2003 a friend I met through our local-ish Yu-gi-oh card game meet-up at Books-a-Million. His father when he'd get visitation on the weekends, as a way to ingratiate himself with his son would often buy him whatever tickled his fancy and I was able to benefit one of those days. Back when the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters International: Worldwide Edition for GBA came out and the inclusion of the first ever English language versions of the Egyptian God cards! Well my friend's dad bought him the import version of the game to get him the coveted cards but then the package's tracking ceased updating after it left Japan. The seller being kind shipped out another copy as it was thought the original one was lost in the mail. Fast forward 5 months after his replacement game and cards were delivered a sun bleached, slightly crushed brown box arrives. It's the original package! My friend being a stickler for condition and aesthetics didn't want to keep it as it wasn't pristine so he kindly gave it to me. We became a menace at the local event solo and even tag Duels with our God card decks. Since this wasn't sanctioned and the cards only had flavor text, we had to scour the available video games and anime to write a legend for the effects of our cards that our opponents were allowed to peruse before agreeing to face us. Still had many disagreements though. His was a Slifer deck that cycled Spear Cretin with Card of Safe Return to power up his Slifer and occasionally he'd run a second copy by borrowing mine. I would turbo/cheese out Obelisk and tribute him for a 4K Ra with the ability to pay 5,000 to wipe out my opponent's entire front row. Has very light scratches on the front and back with some slight creasing over the back and front. (See pictures) Looks almost mint when put in a matching small-size sleeve.
