Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Lenox The Fairmount Single (1) Salad Plate. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The salad plate measures approximately 8.375” in diameter and is marked with, or with a slight variation of the following backstamp: “L, Lenox, The Fairmount, ©.” The plate is of a cream base with a band of blue flowers, a pink rose/green leaf center, and a gold rim and verge. The pattern has been discontinued with the dates of manufacture listed between 1920 and 1966. Condition: Overall, the salad plates are in great condition and look to have been rarely used. The plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show extremely light signs of holiday use or extremely light cleaning or utensil scratches, or light imperfections to the gold rim/verge; however, I do not feel that the condition of the pieces have been compromised.
