Description: *Lee Bogle "FIRST GLANCE 2" Native American-Indian Man-Art-RARE Lithograph. This is a rare find of one of Lee Bogle's "First Glance" lithograph. This was purchased new for the Justin Galleries in Rolling Meadows, Illinois on January 16th 1996. This lithograph was purchased for the sole purpose of being displayed in a newly built log home in the Wisconsin Dells area along with two other lithographs. Due to the open design of the home and the abundance of ambient light, the buyer opted to have the lithograph framed and museum glass installed.Benefits of museum glass:Virtually eliminates reflections.Blocks up to 99% of UV rays.Optimal light transmission brighten colors.Enhanced surface for better durability and easy cleaning. No ripple or orange peel effect on glass surface.Proprietary coatings are engineered for permanence.Premium 2.5mm thickness provides better strength and rigidity. The extra cost investment was to guarantee the striking image to be as breath taking today as it was on the day it was produced. There were 995 editions produced and there is a Certificate of Authenticity stating this to be #384. The gallery is no longer in business. We have the bill of sale. The lithograph is signed in pencil as are other Lee Bogle's lithographs. The picture measures 17" X 34" without frame and 27" X 44" framed.Need to pass this lithograph along to another caretaker due to the need to move to a much smaller location.1335.00
