This dye is formulated to highlight the flaws in the leather to give it an antique rustic look. Because this is hand dyed, these can be slightly lighter or darker than the pictured items. Even though we cut to avoid them, there are occasionally small blemishes on the cowhide from insect bites, scars or brands. (This also occurs on big-name retail bought holsters)Rustic Brown, Bourbon Brown and Saddle Tan are hand-dyed and can occasionally be lighter or darker than what is pictured.
