Description: This is a German Box clock with an 8 day, time and strike movement. The clock has a duplex or bim bam chime. Cosmetically, the clock is in nice antique condition. There might be a scuff or two, but it appears to be intact and sturdy. Mechanically, the clock ticks when the the pendulum is swung and it chimes when the hands are cycled. The movement appears to be clean enough and power transfers through the gear trains. That being said, the clock was not hung and is mostly untested. It’s being sold for restoration. There is a sticker in the case that says it made by Lauffer, but I can’t say that the sticker is original. It’s a nice clock with a great chime and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
