Description: Up for auction is a large "It's a Hamilton" megaphone/horn. I'm kind of at a loss on this one. Hamilton didn't seem to make many phonographs and I've never seen another like it. It may possibly have been used on a riverboat to communicate with other boats or the people on the shore. It measures 30" x 14" x 3.5". It is made of a heavy pressed board which does have damage on the small end as shown. The metal mount is adjustable(swivel as well as vertical). Both sides have the original "It's a Hamilton" gold label. The outside of the body has some wear and staining. Feel free to email me with any questions and thanks for looking.
