Description: Please read everything before buying: Vintage 50s-60s women’s coat. Appears to be bouclè wool. Lining appears to be satin. There are no labels that state fabric content so this is my best guess based on appearance and feel of the coat. See photos for details. Large buttons on front appear to be Bakelite but I can’t be certain. They have the heft and feel of Bakelite but again, no labels that state as such. Only label I can find states the coat is made of fabric imported from France. Similar labels were/are found in many Saks 5th avenue garments just like this one. It is my assumption the coat is a Saks coat but the Saks label has been removed. Again, I cannot be sure of this but it does appear to be the case. Coat is in overall good vintage condition with minor loose areas of bouclè weave and one small hole in the lining at the shoulder hem which should be an easy repair but does not affect wearability or look of the garment. As with all items that have age, please expect some minor imperfections. Coat is best for a modern size medium or large. Small could wear as well for a more oversized look. Coat is approx knee length and has pockets and has a good weight to it. Questions are welcomed! Offers are welcomed! Sorry no returns.
