These templates are twice the size as the standard La Passacaglia templates. The quilt builds up faster and are much easier to sew as the templates are not so tiny. The standard pattern is for a wall hanging, so with these templates you could create a double quilt.What a treat for fans of modern EPP! There are five different shapes:Small diamond - 4.75 inch X 1.5 inchSmall pentagon - 2.5 inch X 2 1/4 inchSmall triangle - 2 3/8 inch X 1.5 inchLarge pentagon - 4 inch X 3.75 inchLarge diamond - 2.3/8 inch X 2.5 inch.The shapes are different polygons, the sizes above are the side points of the different shapes. ***Please be aware that you need to purchase the "Millefiori Quilts" book for the complete pattern. I will send a layout diagram for one of the rosettes so that you can get started. All these shapes are designed to fit together to create a modern kaleidoscopic effect.*** ~ You will receive 20 small triangles, 20 large diamonds, 20 small pentagons, 20 small diamonds, 20 small pentagons and 10 large pentagons. That is 110 in total. ~Templates are precisely rotary cut, using high quality 100gms WEIGHT brilliant white paper. Anything heavier will blunt your needle as you sew. This paper has been carefully chosen as anything thicker including card will cause difficulties in pushing your needle through the fabric and the template, causing stiff and sore fingers. Templates are stapled in batches of ten for your convenience. ~With each pack I will include a layout diagram, and a leaflet on how to sew the paper templates using the English paper piecing method. ~I will also include a tacked pentagon example for you to copy.
