I feel totally comfortable with someone taking out the card with gloves, putting it under a light and microscope and grading it. I believe he is close to or mint condition. When my mother-in-law gave me the card it was in a protective sleeve and has been for since she got it in an envelope with her kids. Birth certificates and stuff said she never touched it. It just stayed in that plastic sleeve. Now I can tell you right now the other three cards they're nowhere near close to being a damn five. I don't know they all have marks on them that I can tell but Kobe aunt I'm trying to be honest with you. I honestly believe that he is damn near or close to mint. And I know how they grade the cards and how they look at them under light and microscope and everything else. And I would consider Kobe flawless. If I had The ability to cut him out of the other three and send him away. I definitely would right now. I would send him away to get graded if I could separate him from the other ones without screwing up his card. But with my rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, I wouldn't trust myself to try to even separate that card. Not with him being damn near perfect. I mean he is close to being perfect. Honestly he is the only one that matters. It's isdamn near in perfect condition, I wouldn't want to chance ruining it at all. But I think Kobe would definitely come back a 9.5 or higher. But hey don't take my word for it. Look at the pictures I took them from every angle I could. I took them up the corners the tops the bottom the whole thing. Just check out the pics. I honestly believe he's close to mint but I know how strict they are grading cards so I wouldn't dare say he's a 10 even though I believe he is close. I still have it in the sheet of plastic she had it in, and it will stay that way until someone buys it or I get the cohonas to cut it out. If I do, I will definitely send it to get graded. I think it would be the highest graded Kobe Bryant rookie card from Sports Illustrated for Kids that I have seen listed on eBay. I am just too nervous. And to send them together, it would suck because the only one I would consider even worth getting graded is Kobe.I have seen pictures of this this card graded listing for up to 3000 sometimes more. If you have some extra money, I would suggest that you take this investment. Get the card separated, send it to get graded and you will have increased your value immediately. You are not going to find any stock on the market or any IRA, interest rate or any other card that is going to increase in value once it's graded like this card. Since Kobe tragically passed away in the helicopter crash, his cards especially his rookie cards, have increased in value exponentially. I have seen this card graded at a 8.7 and sell for over $1,000 dollars. If you really think about all the kids that had a sports illustrated for kids including myself, we tore those magazines up. These cards can't be that numerous. They weren't manufactured as regular basketball cards were and they were only produced for this insert in S.I for kids. It was a magazine. And yes, some people might have thought Kobe was going to be a superstar but the Superstar he became and then the tragic accident combined make this card highly valuable and rare. If you are looking for an investment, I would suggest you buy this card. I will make sure it is protected, that is why I have shipping a little higher because I will make sure it stays in the same exact condition. You could simply cut him out from the rest of them or have a professional do it, send it in to get graded. Bam you're a millionaire. lol. Probably not, but you can definitely make $1,000 at least.
